Rogali kicked off this preparation with a strong 3rd place at Eagle Farm.We put a line through his next start when the track performed well below its official rating. A week ago after drawing an awkward outside barrier at Ipswich he was forced to go back but managed to storm home to finish fourth a mere 1.8L off the leader. On Wednesday, Danny backed Rogali up, again at Ipswich, in a Benchmark 75 over 1700m.Despite long odds of $26, Rogali ridden by inform apprentice jockey Tiffani Brooker, was able to beat off a wall of horses to score his fifth career win. Whilst every win is special the post-race celebrations of Rogali’s connections make it all the more sweet. Many of you will be familiar with the fact that Rogali has his own Facebook page “Rogali The Colt” which chronicles the life of Rogali in the Falvelon Lodge stable. The often humorous musings mean that Rogali has quite the following at Eagle Farm which resulted in many post-race congratulations. It is worth noting that the combination of Danny J Bougoure and Tiffani Brooker has also been quite successful with 5 wins, 2 seconds and 2 fourths from 10 rides. This latest win put Tiffani in poll position on the apprenticeship list.
