Oakleigh Girl the product of two Oakleigh Plate winners Snitzel x Miss Kournikova bypassed a barrier trial to score another all the way dominant win by taking out the Listed Calaway Gal Stakes (1010m) at Doomben on the 14th December. Despite racing at below peak fitness, Oakleigh Girl still managed to run her last 600 metres in 33.66 seconds and the final 200 metres in 11.64 seconds.
