It was a big couple of days for the Danny Bougoure Racing team with a total of five runners racing over three different racetracks all earning prizemoney for their connections. Whilst naturally wins are what we want a 1st, two 2nds and two 3rds is a pretty fair result for a small boutique stable. The weekend kicked off with Be The Magic and Red Magic finishing 2nd and 3rd in the same race. Carrying 4kgs more than the winner and second horse, La Cigale, was beaten by the narrowest of margins into 3rd position after a strong finishing run down the outside. Snitzel’s Joy, delighted connections to win very convincingly in a good time, putting end to months and months of frustrating injuries. Heart Stealer stepped up in distance to put in a good strong effort to run 2nd over 1600m and looks set to return to his 2200m Eagle Farm all the way winning form.
