What a thrill to finally see Graceful Rose score her maiden win from a big field last Saturday at the Sunshine Coast. Purchased by Danny at the Magic Millions four years ago the daughter of Show A Heart out of a stakes-winning mare soon attracked a small group of new owners which have since become loyal stable clients. Having shown ability early on Graceful Rose was hampered by small niggly issues which prevented her from showing her best. Confident that given time she would show her true potential Danny decided to give her a long spell. We took her out to our exclusive spelling farm and put out with a herd of horses and kept her on full feed. It wasn’t long before she started to let down and grow into herself. The time and patience showed by all concerned did her the world of good and she has resumed a stronger, tougher and sounder racing proposition.
