We are also delighted to announce that Cassandra Deverall has joined our team as foreperson. Cassie brings a wealth of knowledge to the stable having worked at Lloyd Williams Macedon Lodge, Darley Stud and most recently John Meaghers stables at Eagle Farm.
David Chester from Magic Millions recently arranged for two Korean students to come and work for Falvelon Lodge as stablehands. Suhyun Park (nicknamed Sue) and Geonhyo Kim (nicknamed John) have recently completed their Master’s Degree in Sports Psychology at Seoul University and are taking a ‘gap year’ before studying for their PhD in the USA. Both are an absolute joy to work with and have amazed us with their natural affinity with the horses.
Lastly, but by no means least, Lucas Kawka has also joined our team as a stablehand. Lucas first worked with racehorses for the late Bruce McLoughlin at his Caloundra Stables. With his fulltime profession being a children’s tennis coach, Lucas possess an unflappable and calm temperament, which makes him a real asset around the stables.
