Purchased at the recent Magic Millions Gold Coast (QTIS) Yearling Sale for $20,000 (plus GST) this colt really appealed. He is the perfect combination of his sire, twice awarded Australian Champion Sprinter, Falvelon and his maternal sire Queensland Leading Sire, Show A Heart.
The colt has all the strength, bone, depth of girth, natural muscle and sensible temperament of Falvelon but with the length of leg of Show A Heart. This is the same cross which produced stakes placed Ambitious Blonde runner up to Oakleigh Girl in the Listed Calaway Gal Stakes at Doomben.
The colt is an early August foal and both Magic Millions and QTIS eligible. He is the second foal of Show A Heart mare Doubleblack Velvet. Her first foal is a 2YO by Bradbury’s Luck. The colt's younger half sister recently sold as a weanling for $34,000.
The colt’s second dam, Black Velvet and her dam Doon Point were both stakes winners in France.
