All wins are fantastic but some are sweeter than others. Ooshe’s midweek metropolitan win at Ipswich last Wednesday with Robbie Fraad aboard was something very special for all concerned.
Ooshe has always been a lovely easy-going filly who will continue to improve every preparation. Her breeder came to our stable several years ago to volunteer so that he could obtain some hands-on experience with racehorses. A quick learner, Glenn soon expanded on his passion for racehorses by starting up a breeding program under the name Twin Rivers Thoroughbreds.
Ooshe was one of his first foals and she was loved and named by his eldest daughter who was also developing a fondness for thoroughbreds. Sadly, she didn’t get to see her favourite filly race but the win significantly fell on his daughter’s birthday bringing some comfort to the family.
We are sure that this is only the beginning for Ooshe as she is still a preparation or two away from showing her true potential.
